CBM UK CHARITY
Create an impactful video to help raise awareness for young girls
with disabilities in conjunction with Paralympian, Anne Wafula Strike.
THE BRIEF
We were delighted when CBM UK came to us, asking us to create a meaningful and impactful video for them. The charity had such an important topic that needed highlighting and we were happy to play our part in helping to promote their latest campaign, ‘Every Girl Every Where’, raising awareness for girls with disabilities.
This video was to be released in conjunction with the Paralympics and CBM UK teamed up with Anne Wafula Strike, an incredible and successful Paralympian. Origins Films were tasked with filming an emotive and informative interview with Anne, whilst utlising supplied footage from the client to intercut with the interview and tell the story of a young girl with a disability.
THE PRODUCTION
We wanted Anne’s words to do the talking and CBM’s messaging to stand out, no gimmicks here! So we filmed Anne’s interview against a simple yet authentic backdrop, lighting the interview in a subtle yet deliberate way to allow Anne to take centre stage.
Akin to documentary style filming, where you often see ‘behind the scenes’, we featured shots of Anne entering into view to provide authenticity and drive emotion.
THE REVIEW
“Origins were creative and professional, easy and collaborative to work with, and brought loads of energy and hard work to the project. We are delighted with our film and would love to work with them again!”
